News from the Lower School

Week of Jan. 8

Happy Fri-Yay LS Families,

At the beginning of this week, we received news that undoubtedly weighed heavily on all of us emotionally.  However, the return of students on Wednesday brought much-needed uplift to the entire school community.  Witnessing the positive energy of our students as they reentered the school environment was truly heartwarming.  It reminded us of the strength of our community and the support we provide each other during challenging times.  This collective spirit has allowed us to come together and embrace a sense of normalcy, helping us navigate through difficult moments as a united school family.

This week was has been about more than just returning to our routines; we are actively working to shake off the Winter Break rust (maybe a few pounds if you're anything like me) and regain our momentum.  It is a collective effort to readjust, for both students and staff, but the enthusiasm and dedication we've witnessed this week are promising signs of a successful journey ahead!  Thank you for your continued support, understanding, and collaboration as we strive to create a positive and nurturing environment for our entire community to thrive!

With Gratitude,

Jonathan
