News from the Lower School

Week of Jan. 1

Happy Fri-Yay LS Families,

I hope this message finds you refreshed and filled with warmth from the holiday season! As we look forward to our return next Wednesday, I want to extend a heartfelt Happy New Year and welcome back to school! Upon our return, our students will be stepping into the second semester of the year.  This is the phase of the year where our scholars will begin to expand their knowledge base and hone the skills necessary for their academic growth and success not just for this year, but as a foundation for their success next year and beyond.  The second semester paves the way for students to consolidate their learning, reinforce concepts, and master skills that will serve as building blocks for their next academic milestones.

As we collectively set our sights on the new year and begin to create resolutions or vision boards together for the year ahead, I invite you to have our scholars reflect on their aspirations and plans for academic growth. Encourage them to envision their achievements, and think about the steps they'll take to reach their end-of-year goals.  This can be a wonderful opportunity to foster a sense of responsibility and commitment for our students in their educational journey!

Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's education. We look forward to a semester filled with growth, learning, and shared achievements. Cheers to the New Year!

With Gratitude,

Jonathan
