Greetings from the Upper School!

Happy New Year a little early! I hope this message finds you rested and rejuvenated from the season's festivities and looking forward to all that 2024 has in store.

As you enjoy these last days of break, please know we are excited to return to campus and look forward to seeing students on Wednesday, January 3, which is an A day. Upper School students should report to advisory on Wednesday morning at the regular time (8:30). Students, please plan to start the second semester off on a positive note by being on time.

Homecoming is fast approaching, and classes have already begun planning for the spirit-filled competitions and festivities.

Homecoming Week is January 16 - 20 (Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday on Monday the 15th - school holiday). We will communicate special event specifics soon. For now, please know that Hall Night is Thursday, January 18 (student attendance and participation are expected, as the evening builds class unity and should be a collective effort), Homecoming is Friday, January 19 (this includes hall viewing beginning early that morning and other traditions throughout the day, culminating with basketball games against SCA in the afternoon and evening). We cap off the week-long fun with an Upper School Homecoming dance on Saturday, January 20 (8:00 pm - 10:00 pm). SAT prep sessions return on Sunday, January 21 (1:00 - 3:00 in the Seminar Room).

Parents of seniors, please keep the following dates in mind:

January 5: Senior Portrait and Baby picture due

February 1: Photos / Copy for Senior Ads due
