Education:
Pursuing an MAT in early childhood education with certificates in three areas of special education from Converse College.

Professional Experience:
I have been working with children in private and public schools in Florida, NC and SC for more than 20 years.

Why I do what I do...
I strive to always create a classroom where a child is busy, engaged and involved in social interaction with peers. I encourage kindness and respect, focusing on a positive approach to play and independent problem solving.

I have four adult children, two girls and two boys, along with four wonderful grandchildren, whom I adore and spend as much time with as possible. I love to cook, dabble in crafts and spend time outside with family and friends, in addition to participating in physical fitness.
