Middle School Math Teacher

Professional Experience
My first 3 years of teaching were spent in Spartanburg District 7 teaching 5th and 6th grade math and science. I then moved to Spartanburg District 6 for the next 11 years teaching 3rd and 5th grades.

Education
I graduated from The University of South Carolina with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education in 2008. I attended Converse College during my 2nd and 3rd year of teaching and earned a masters degree in Elementary Education.

Why I'm an SDS Griffin...
I chose to be a Griffin because I believe in the mission of SDS! I wanted to be a part of a community of trust and surrounded by other educators who also share the passion of providing the best possible education to our students.

I have been married to the love of my life, Stephen, for 10 amazing years. We love to spend time together at our beautiful home in the woods with our 3 fur babies. Wallie, our 7 month old Cavapoo puppy, is always up for a ride in the woods or a run in the yard! We also have 2 sweet kitties, Callie and Gracie. Stephen and I love traveling to Disney World and cooking together at home!
